Setting Up Your Email Account

You can use many different email programs such as: Outlook, Calypso, etc.

Each program will be a little different but the settings will remain the same. The settings below are necessary to successfully setup your account.

 

  1. Choose POP3 from the drop down list
  2. The incoming mail (POP3) server is pop.goldspace.com
  3. The outgoing mail (SMTP) server is smtp.goldspace.com
  4. You can also use your ISP's outgoing mail server (SMTP) and in some cases this is the only option that will work. You should contact your ISP to determine what they require.
  5. When setting up your SMTP server, make sure you choose the option to AUTHENTICATE (or login to send messages). You will use the same login and password from your POP3 account.
    NOTE: This step may not apply if you are using your ISP's outgoing mail server (SMTP).
  6. Your USERNAME: your email address

 

If you use the ONLINE EMAIL system to check your mail, you may want to consider setting your email up using IMAP as your account type. This will ensure that all your email from your email program such as Outlook, Calypso, etc. will be syncronized with your ONLINE EMAIL.
